Advantage Membership FAQ

The ACORD Advantage Program provides agents and brokers with broad based information and services that help with operations, compliance and communications, in addition to unlimited access to ACORD Forms. ACORD Advantage membership entitles you, and all employees at your location, with 12 months of access to the ACORD Advantage services and products at a flat $149 fee.


What is the Advantage Program?
ACORD Advantage is ACORD’s program for agents, brokers, intermediaries and distributors, providing broad based information and services that help with operations, compliance and communications, in addition to unlimited access to ACORD Forms. Advantage benefits include information to keep you up to date on current industry trends; access to the most up to date ACORD Forms; as well as many valuable services and discounts.

What does the Advantage Program cost?
The cost of the Advantage Program is $149 for 12 months of service, including unlimited participation for all individuals at your location. If you belong to a User Group, please contact them for information about any discounts they may offer for the ACORD Advantage program.

Does everyone in my location need to pay Advantage dues?
The $149 you pay per year is a flat fee and entitles everyone at your location to the ACORD Advantage services.

Does everyone in my location need to register on the website?
Everyone within a location should secure their own individualized user name and password. This way each individual can decide which subjects are beneficial to them and what they would like to receive.

Does everyone in my location use the same password?
Since your user name is your email address, we recommend that each person signs up individually. The initial password is generated by our system, which you may change. Every individual at your location may have their own user name and password, at no additional price.

I just want to download forms, can I do that?
The ability to download forms is provided to paid members of the ACORD Advantage Program. Once you register and Member Services verifies your account information, you can then sign-in to search for forms and print or save them to your local hard drive. If you download forms, please be aware that you should periodically check for updates, as ACORD makes available new and revised forms the moment they are changed. Advantage members are notified of changes through the monthly Advantage eNewsletter and the forms updates section of this website.

I just want to place an order for paper forms. How do I do that?
Paid members of the ACORD Advantage Program can place orders for paper forms to the ACORD Member Services department. Please call in your request to 800-444-3341 ext. 506, fax it to 845-620-3600, or email memberservices@acord.org, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

I sent in my check and still can not sign in to the Advantage website. What should I do?
Contact Member Services at 800-444-3341 ext. 506, or send and email to memberservices@acord.org. A representative will assist you.

I have a system that includes ACORD Forms, why do I need to join ACORD Advantage?
Your most efficient workflow is through your agency management system and ACORD promotes and encourages you to use all the functionality in your system. However, at times your system may not contain every form you need or the most current version. If you need to use a form, and it is not available from your other source or is out of date, you may secure the form through ACORD Advantage membership. In addition, the ACORD Advantage Program provides much more than unlimited access to the most up-to-date ACORD Forms. This includes information to keep you up to date on current industry trends as well as many valuable services and discounts.
